Let prospects know who you are, what you do, and how to connect with you. A simple 1 page website and contact modal for networking. Still in beta. I developed everything from idea to execution.
The inspiration for Online Business Card struck me when I spotted a client's business card lying forgotten in the trash. It sparked a question: how many business cards actually get used? Let's be honest, most of us have a collection of these in a drawer somewhere, destined to be forgotten or worse, thrown away.
Realizing the environmental impact and inefficiency of traditional cards, I knew there had to be a better way. The digital world offered a perfect solution – a platform that was both convenient and eco-friendly. Thus, the idea for Online Business Card, a simple and affordable networking tool, was born.
I ditched the standard mobile view for a more interactive experience. Instead of the typical list of links, I designed a unique contact button that triggers a pop-up menu with easy-to-access contact options.
A lot of research and testing went into this project. The final results turned out to be something I am very proud of.
This web application leverages several integrated technologies to ensure smooth operation and deliver its functionalities. While the setup required extensive problem-solving, the final tech stack offers efficiency and clarity:
Webflow is my go to for website design and development, so it was a no-brainer when it came to what software I would use to create the UX for this web app. Webflow provides a flexible and user-friendly framework for the visual interface.
Memberstack seamlessly manages subscription plans and access control.
Make automates repetitive tasks and streamlines workflows. I used this to connect all the platforms with web hooks to make API calls.
Google Drive and Gmail offer secure and integrated file storage and communication.
Still in beta but feel free to visit the site to experience the UX.
